As intellectual property specialists, we support our clients in all their trademark law issues. Whether it involves securing their rights in France and abroad (prior art searches, filings), their contracts (assignments, licenses) or their pre-litigation and litigation, we are pro-active in defending our customers' trademarks and fighting counterfeiting. In addition, we regularly assist our clients with acquisition or valuation audits.
Copyright protects creative work, even in the absence of registration. We regularly initiate copyright infringement actions on behalf of our clients, and support them in structuring their actions (purchase reports, infringement seizure requests, legal proceedings). We are also very active in the fight against counterfeiting, and pursue active strategies to best defend our clients'
intellectual property rights.
A design protects the appearance of a product or part of a product, including its lines, contours, shapes and so on. To benefit from this protection, it is generally necessary to register with the local industrial property office (INPI for France; EUIPO for the European Union). There is also an unregistered Community design right (UCD). We represent. our customers both for design registrations in France and at European Union level. We also assist them in protecting their rights and opposing third parties who reproduce them improperly.
We support our clients in their patent licensing and assignment contracts, as well as in litigation, both as plaintiff and defendant. In this context, we request infringement seizures in order to be able to prove the infringement of the third-party. We also handle cases relating to the remuneration of employees' inventions, patent ownership claims, and the associated issues of know-how, business secrecy, unfair competition and parasitism.
